It's a legit deer, fair chase and wild....my boss's hunting camp seperates where this buck was taken and where it was staying. I huge buck of this caliber crossed the road in front of my boss and the home range farmer has this buck on video and pictures of him on his farm. The buck was known in this area. The shooter, just pure luck, the buck was staying 4 miles over 2 ridges from where it was shot...It was taken on rt. 864 in Lycoming County near Picture Rocks.

There's so many rumors going around already about the deer. IT's amazingly sad how jealousy works....

One rumor like you said, an escaped captive deer, nope, even the local pen raiser around here verified it wasn't none of his.
