Default Trials and Tribulations.... grr....

First off, I'm down to one shootable arrow and can't afford to buy more.(or to have the ones I have refletched) I shot the blazers off 3 of the 4 shootable arrows I had. So my practicing has been all but a treadmill exercise(walking to and from the target more than shooting. So much for measuring consistancy. [:@] Hopefully I can get things squared away in time to hunt.....

My trip to the family spread has been put off till December. So that buys me an extra 3 weeks but man is it getting slim....

Then the coup de' gras.... I walk into my "primary employer" this morning after a 5 day "vacation" to work an extra 40 hrs for my "secondary employer", just to walk out 5 minutes later with my severance check. I've changed jobs alot in the last 6-7 yrs, but only once before was I fired, and it was for an understandable offense. This time I got no more explaination than "overall job performance"... AT LEAST TELL ME WHAT I DID WRONG!!! Grr... sorry... had to vent.

Now if I can just fight off the temptation to spend a chunk of that severance onone of those package "ready to hunt" new bows! LOL.... I think I may have a banking error this weekend... LOL...

I'm no stranger to adversity... after all God said not that we would be hunky-dorry because of our faith but that we WILL be tested and tried.... so here we go again...

Thanks for letting me vent... somewhat off topic, but it does have a little to do with archery...
