Default RE: BEST TRAP FOR COYOTES?

I like the MB-650 for coyotes, as trapper dave said, 1.75 will work but unless you have a lot of experience with yotes the pan is a little small. You will also have to do a lot of work on them if bought new, base plates, center swivel, replace the cheap swivels they come with, laminations and four coiling. The MB is around 19$ a trap but they are worth it, they are coyote proof and when you get them, run them through the dishwasher, speed dip and you are ready to trap. They are also a dogless design and I like this for coyotes, they have a huge pan and i have yet to have a coyote bend or hurt one. I order mine from Minnesota Brand products, they have a web site not sure what the url is. Should be able to find it on a search engine, if not e mail me. [email protected].
I get my bait and lure from the same place. I like Carmen's Pro Choice, and Magna Gland. Fox Hollow GH 2. Powder River paste bait. MB has excellent urine also. If you are new to this buy the book Lone Wolfer by James Lucero. He takes you through it step by step. Hope this helps. If you have any more questions post them or e mail me.
