Really doesn't work unless the soil is prepped. You will be throwing money on the ground basically. Depends so much on soil pH, fertilizing, sunlight and removal of grass/weed competition. I should know, I tried this last year in a pinch and nothing grew. Spent the entire winter reading "How to Books"and checking with other members on proper food plot preperations.
