rybo..i know your just bustin my chops...(mmm deer chops! lol)

im a very focused guy. i know all to many people that screwed up their lives. i come from a town that 90% of the people never move away from and there are not too many good jobs around. the railroad is about the only job around now. even my parents travel to work. i want to get out of here. i want to chase my dreams. i wanna see some other parts of the country. ive always wanted to follow dads footsteps and work in the law enforcment field. i wanted to become a state cop..but dad said its hard to get into and id need military or college to even end up getting looked at..and the pay wouldnt be worth it. so i was like fine...ill be a game warden. then i found out they make about what i do at walmart lol...sad but almost true. so i looked into becoming a park ranger and thats where im heading with any luck. i wont be rich. but ill be alright..and ill be happy. many paths to take too. getting a job shouldnt be all to hard for me either. my advisor/proff was a park ranger for the NPS for a long while. worked in ALOT of parks. he then began teaching it. so he got connections like crazy. the people he used to work with are still around. and the kids he taught are now moving up in rank..they come to him for jobs because they know our program is top notch. this is only my 2nd semester as a park and resource managment/park law major and am already going to get certified by the NPS in wildland firefighting soon..like this month i think. i hope to actually work that field this summer if i can find work. i got a clear path ahead of me...and am in a great program and my advisor(hes the advisor of us in the law enforcement end of it) has 100% placement. i figured a couple beers and a good time isnt worth pi$$ing my future away. hunting and fishing fuel me to do my work. i used to be a HUGE procrastinator. not anymore. i get the work done ASAP...then i go hunt or fish! so far its workin out for me...keep the grades up and i think ill be on my way!
