I know about the myth youre referring to though. People do blow it out of porportion. But me myself have had some bad experience with them in my 7mm. They seem fine in the'06 though. They will fragment on impact with bone in some instances, as they have on me. I would try the nosler accubond in my 270wsm if I wereyou man. You will see better penetration with the same accuracy. And they wont fragment on bone as bad. It wont leave as quite big a hole as the BT and won't damage as much meat. Give em a try man. They make a 140gr accubond for the 270.
