RE: What's the biggest mistake "new" hunters make.?
I definitely agree about the overly high expections brought on by TV and the instant gratification generation coming into hunting age. Not realizing it can be incredibly hard work, through scouting, preparing sites, hiking, hanging treestands, etc. Understanding hunting, especially archery is a lot of failure, but if you wade through it time and again, it is oh so rewarding.
Slow down, have fun. Enjoy where you are at, its a great break from life.
