Light rain can be a great time to hunt. Hard rain doesn't sound fun, but if you have good cover it would be ok I guess. I have seen deer in light rain, I am not usually out in heavy rain.

BUT, you need to remember that you might have to track a deer in the rain, and that can be tough. I would be extra sure of a shot taken while its raining. Your chances of recovering a bad hit deer go down with rain washing a blood trail away.
