Im looking at buying a 300 magnum but ive never shot one ive just seen what they can do on paper. the biggest gun ive shot b4 this is a 308 so how much harder is the 300 magnum going to kick? i dont want to hesitate b4 i shoot but im fine with the 308 so do uguys think i would have a problem with a 300 magnum ( btw im 17 years old 165 pounds)
I guess were talking about the 300win mag, I've seen first hand wat they have done to mule deer and thats a lot of damage towards meat especially to a deer..
And im 16 (110lbs)cuurrently right now and this up coming weekend on saturday i gotta sight in my dads 300win cuz my dad cuts some of his thumb off at work so he is casted up and to tell you the truth i'm more worried about my new 7rem mag b/c my gun is lighter than my dads gunand his is the feather weight model so basically this depends on the weight of the rifle. i was 14 when i first shot his 300 and i was 95 pounds but the first shot will be the awakining shot after that you'll know what your in for...
Its a great rifle you couldn't go wrond with it..
Good luck!!!
