RE: 23- Team Official Thread
I would return to the Hoyt dealer I bought it from, but he is the kind of guy that sets upa bow and if you return with it wanting things changed he will demand they don't need to be.
He didn't really help me with setup much. He is a pretty decent guy aside from the business, his "I'm always right" attitude is what keeps me from going back to him. The guy has experience, I will give him that, but I prefer not to go back to him.
The other shop in town used to sell quite a few Hoyts, but now pushes Mathews something fierce. Don't mind that, but I don't want a bow shoved down my throat. That doesn't really matter at this time since I only need repairs, but he is real big on talking down on other bows. I am not really willing to let him do the repairs.
I got on the Hoyt website and found some other places in the area. Mostly shops 20-30 miles away. I don't really want to do the driving unless I know the shop is capable of fixing the bow.
At this point I just want good customer service. I can't seem to find that around here. Or those that do, don't service Hoyts.
