SW, they guys I hunt with figure the less educated, less cagey deer like does and young deer take about half an hour of silence before resuming their activities. That is assuming you don't frighten them. So if they hear the thump of the string or you climbing the stand (that sort of noise intensity) they will continue coming out. If you spooked them with the string noise ie:they were out in the field and ran away its a whole different ball game. Gonsville!
