In all likelihood it was probably "used up" by the time you got it home from the store. As David said your home dryer will not remove adsorbed material from carbon so it pretty much amounts to very expensive camo.

I have often wondered how or why people believe that air/odor from their body flows out through their jacket like they show in those diagrams with the arrows rolling over the carbon molecules physics tends to get in the way of that theory. Air and all the scent that goes with it will pass out the escape route of LEAST resistence. This fact can be proven with ANY jacket you have......carbon or not. Put a piece of garlic or an onion or any smelly thing inside the coat between your chest and the jacket and bend over and try to smell it through the jacket............then pull the jacket slightly away from your body and "fluff" it a little and get a whiff of what comes out the neck opening. The only way a garment could force air through itself would be in an airtight seal.

It's time to replace your carbon suit alright.............the question is with what??
