ORIGINAL: longrifle1000 I was looking around at some different shotgun slugs the other day, and ran across an oddity. It is from Nitro Company Ammunition. They claim to have a slug, for "smooth bore barrels only", that gives 4" groups and 4" of drop at 200 yards! Here are the the balistics they give.

10ga 3 1/2" 1oz 1700fps
12ga 3 1/2"1oz 1650fps
12ga3"1oz1600fps
12ga 2 3/4" 1oz 1570fps

So, to get a 4" drop at 200 yards, it needs to be sighted in roughly at 175 yards? Does this even seem feasable? And 4" groups from a smooth bore? Have any comments or thoughts?
