This morning myself and my brother went out on stand. I was totin' the video camera and was totin' the Q2. Around 7:30 I saw movement to my 11 o'clock about 65 yards out. I alerted my brother that there was a deer moving in and he readied his bow. I continued to video this, what I guessed to be a 6 point around 110-120lbs move right by us quarting to us but stayed out around 27 yards and never stopped. Realizing this buck wasnt gonna stop his steady pace my brother whipped out "the can" and hit a couple times, no response from the deer, again on "the can" and no response then I hit the grunt tube once, twice, three times and no response this deer was just not interested in anything and would not stop no matter what noises or calls we threw at him. All we needed is for his curiosity to peak enough for him to stop for 2 seconds and we had him nailed at 27 yards but he just a kept on goin. Strange, but just goes to show ya, they dont always do what you want them too. Oh, well back out in the mornin to give him another shot.
Good lucks guys.
