No stinkin bugs works, but it stinks. I bought a bottle of off in a pump bottle, it doesnt smell as much as the aerosol, but it still smells. Get a thermacell. It is not totally scent free as advertised, but it doesn't spook deer and it works. I had a bunch of deer come directly under my stand when using it without spooking. It works great to keep the skeeters away.
