This outfitter just had 2 hunters cancel there 2006 Archery Mountain Elk hunt due to health reasons. So we are now going to pass this hunt onto the next 2 hunters that can make it up. This hunt runs from Sept 6-17 in WMU 420. This is a highly managed area with only 6 point Bulls taken. With average Bull scoring 330. Hunters will be 7 hours by horse back into the Rocky Mountains, bordering the Banff national park. Again this is a archery mountain elk hunt and hunters should be in fair physical shape. We sell this hunt for $5500 per hunter with only 4 hunters per year going with us on this hunt. Resident pressure is VERY low for the elk. A few Sheep hunters is all we see in this area.
