I started reloading when I was 14 years old and don't remember the last time I bought a box of rifle shells . I was lucky that I had a neighbor to teach me the fundimentals because they didn't have all the videos that are available today to show you how . If you can watch a video and it will give you a good idea what is needed to start . The libary will also carry books on it if you don't want to purchase anything right away .
The scope also sounds like a great idea if you don't already have one . Good luck what ever you choose.
