But therein is the very reason I'm against a subjective grading and "categorizing" of members. I find nothing earth shattering or moving in that post. It's the same things we all have said, or feel said in a different way. You'll have people that think they'll be judged by their "Attaboys" and will try to become Earnest Hemmingway. Frankly, the amature usually falls flat when he starts to use words he doesn't normally use. And again, it's who's judging the post and the "Literary merit" of these posts. My taste is not yours. I like kill, you like "harvest'. I like 8 point, you like "management buck". I like nice deer, you like trophy buck. I like shooting a doe, you call it QDM. Honestly, most of us are above the need for kudos from the library monitor and a sticker on our homework. I'm past rah rah and have been for many years. You like a post, fine....send him a PM, that's what they're for. If you want to practice sentence struture and hone writing skills, go to the community college and take a class. You want to talk hunting, listen to hunters, be around hunters,.... then pull up a chair and dive in. Don't come in seeking Attaboys because someone likes you. Good Grief Charlie Brown.
