Marinate them in Garlic powder, salt, pepper, worchestershire, soy sauce, and season salt over night. Wrap them in bacon and cook on a water soaked cedar plank for about 10-12 minutes on the grill. Take them off of the plank and throw them away and eat the cedar plank.

Jusst kiddin', I personally, would probably never try to eat a sparrow or starling, but to each his own. There are several cajuns I work with that say starling makes the best gumbo they have ever eaten. Might try it that way.
