RE: Best Way Of Sighting or Setting Up Sights
Others have made a god ppint about ridding the bow of the rear crosshair sight. It has couple of drawbacks. One; it' too close to the pins sight and the short sight radius deems it "not as accurate" as using a string peep that may give you a sight radius of 30" or so. Two, it relly seems to clutter up and confuse the sight picture.
You can even do without a string peep if you desire although it does help a lot. To shoot without a peep you must have pretty consisitent anchor points, which I don't recommend for beginners.
You could also install a kisser button in lieu of a peep. Basically, what they do is align your face to the string to reinforce your anchor points. But if you want the best achievable accuracey the peep is the way to go.
Other than that your setup doesn't sound too bad. We all had to start somewhere.
Good luck.
