Farmhunter, Tiogo County, west of Binghamton. Clay/Rocky soil, was farmed approx 12-15 years ago, mainly field corn then. Hope they grow well too, after all the money/time being spent. I think I did everything right, but I'm still new and sure I have a learning curve to adjust to. I'm continue to enjoy reading your blog, keep it up!
Looks great, best of luck. I have a good sized plot just south of you in Bradford County, PA (near canton) that is now going on 2 weeks since seeded and seems to be doing very well. Your soil sounds a LOT like ours, clay/rocky. Did you guys spread lime? We put on a full ton this year, and plan to put in another full ton next year, as well as a bunch on the other 3 new plots going in next year.
