I have found that I get better accuracy at the rifle range by swabbing between shots,in 3 different rifles.I use one alcohol patch up/down.After I flip the patch the first time I can't feel the crud ring on the second pass.So for methe crud ringis easily removed although it is an extra step.The only reason that I put up with the 777 crud ring is that 777 has given mevastly better accuracy than American Pioneer, Shockey gold,or Pinnacle.I dont like the sulfur smell with Pyrodex,although it also gives good accuracy.I have not yet tried Black Mag 3,but I intend to if I can find some at Friendship.I am not willing to pay the Hazmat feeto ship 1 can.
