interesting theory but I'm not sure it's correct. I have a CVA Optima and it loves 777. Crud ringhas not beenan issue with my rifle. I usually run a wet patch after every third round, but the third round doesn't go down the barrel with much more difficulty than the first. My last range session, I shot off 21 rounds before removing the breach plug to clean it and it wasn't difficult to remove then.
