Go for it. You never know what will happen till you try it.

Start with light (50gr) loads and work up till it falls apart, your sure to find something that works. Also try a tighter patch as that will help it stay in the groove and maybe handle a bit more powder. My 1 in 28 shoots PRB pretty well up to around 70 or 80 grains of 777 2F if I use an 18 to 20 thousandths patch.
