I think what happened to you was wrong. You should have at the very least been told before hand. As much as you want to, don't go tamper with the other guys hunting. I don't know how it is where you live, but it's illegal in MI, and they will enforce it if someone complains.

Who knows, you may pick up another spot and shoot your best deer to date? Crazier things have happened.
