I finally bought my first black powder, it's a CVA optima pro, i am shooting triple 7 powder with 200gr sabot bullets. I was shooting the other day and it was ok at 100yds but at 150 it droped about 5in. Is 200gr to heavy. What do you suggest.

Well if the rifle was dead on at 100 yards the five inches low at 150 is not a surprise. That should be a good projecitle for deer I would think. Is this a .50 caliber?
