Funny you mention Fox ridge, I had a custom 308 cut for my encore that almost drove me crazy. Long story short I spent as much shipping the gun back and fourth as I did buying. I finally sent it to Virgin Valley and they found out what Fox ridge had done wrong. The chamber was cut incorrectly, not a problem I would have expected from a custom shop. I will say that they were friendly and did a great trigger job though.
