we had a family under our shed and i shot the daddy at around 3 yards(about that size, maybe smaller) but the frikin arrow didn't penetrate the skull, i hit it about in inch in front of the eye. i was using a 40-45 lb bow. he died within an hour or so later i think cause the next day it wreaked
