I agree with everyone so far. Also, you may try to hunt the Does in that area. Don't shoot them, but pattern them. Find out where THEY bed down at, and where they like to travel. Then place your stand accordingly, and during the rut, stay in it all day! Some bucks, we just never get a shot at, but that's what keeps you coming back time, after time.
