I have been shooting my trusty Mathews LX for almost 3 years now and really like it. My one problem is that my draw-length was mismeasured when I bought the bow and I need to be shooting 1-1.5" longer draw than I have been. (been shooting 27.5" and it should be 28.5-29") I shot a buddy's new Trykon with a 28.5 draw + loop and it felt great. I have been planning on buying a new cam to fix this problem.
Now on to my problem.
I went to a 3-D shoot today and while my score left alot to be desired, I did win the raffle they were putting on. The prize?
An '05 Hoyt Vipertec! The Viper has a special cam on it that cannot be adjusted but it is currently set for 29". The problem I have now is that I will have to equip the new bow and shoot it against my LX so I can decide what bow to keep.
