It's been awhile since I've been on here, and deer season sure is coming up quick. I'm going to be busy all October (Texas Archery Season) with school stuff, so I'm trying to find a place close by that I can hunt when school is a problem.
I need advice on trying to get permission from people. There's a lot of little farms and ranches out here just down the road from where I live. This evening, I went out with some letters and put them in mailboxes, telling them who I am and all that with my number, offering to help them work on the land if I can hunt there. I don't have much of any money (being 16, working in a grocery store, and having to pay for gas doesn't leave much free money). Do you think my letters will work? What should I do?
