I went out today to try the Pyrodex/Powerbelt Platinum (338) combo in my Omega. I got the best results using 90 grains. Pyrodex definitely seems to be the way to go because I was also getting good groups out of the Great Plains and Maxi-Balls. I still could not get decent groups with the No Excuses. I think I need one more trip to the range before I am completely comfortable with an elk load for this fall, but I definitely feel better after today. I appreciate you posting your results here as it has helped me out alot.
