Default RE: charging hogs

Have taken my son hog hunting several times, since he's12,we've been in some tight spots, hogs breaking all around us-- but they clearly do everything they can to run the other way, and avoid humans. These were free ranging hogs, no fences, large cattle ranch. I guess it depends on where you're hunting-- and if the hogs have been mistreated, or tormented by dogs, etc.Not familiar with that scene. Have never felt threatened by a hog, even several large boars (250-300) who were headed right for us, before they realized we were there-- I really thinkthe charging thing is an old wives tale---
