I think there is nothing better then light snow cover to make hunting better. When the leaves are off the trees, and there is light snow on the ground, it seems the deer are so much easier to spot sneaking through the woods. Another advantage is, snow makes for a quieter hunt. You can walk around with less noise, although I have seen some that can still make more noise then a marching band. And if you need to track, well the snow is the best....
