No doubt. In 13 years of bowhunting I have over 50 kills in four different states, and almost half of them are from the ground. The gus in my family give me grief, but I kill deer every year from the ground. Like my new ladder stands as wee, but it can be done with the right setup.

Dont like heights myself, I have 5 ladder styands, and the highest one is only about 11'. I know it would be better to be higher, but I have been hunting 4 years, and have 3 bow kills to my name, so it can be done. And I have passed on many deer that had no idea that I was there. Just make sure that you have lots of back cover.

NO point in going any higher, if you wont be able to move when you see a deer becouse you are scared crapless.[&:]
