if you get rid of the peep, the deer or the pins will be MORE fuzzy. A peep (if you get one small enough) can help you see BOTH clearly. IF you wish to use a small peep, get a light on your pins, and shoot with BOTH eyes open. Focus on the TARGET, the pins WILL still be clear (providing you are using your dominant eye to see the pins, and you use a small peep)
If your worried about dim shooting situations, again, look at the target with your left eye (assuming right eye dominance) and your lit pins with your right eye.
The benefit of the no-peep, is that you get an unrestricted view of the pins. Unfortunately, restricting your view correctly brings things into focus at all ranges.
