You are right it is a bow only county. I live in Mercer Co which is right next to where you will hunt. There are some monster bucks there but can be hard to find. It is very mountainous and a lot of strip mining has been done. Look for large Oak flats where the deer like to feed. There is a lot of poaching that happens in the bow only counties but there are a great number of really nice bucks. Dont expect to see large amounts of deer daily and the best bet is to hunt from a stand and plan to stay all day. Hope this helped some.
