Well, the little lady and myself enjoyed attending the Gene Foster Traditional Rendezvous over last weekend. Didn't shoot too bad and actually, for not having shot her bow more than a couple of times all year, the wife did real well too.
Now the good news. The wife bought 2 of the available 50, 10.00 raffle tickets for a Tim Meigs duo-flex longbow and Tim drew her ticket and she won. <img src=icon_smile_shock.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile_approve.gif border=0 align=middle>

I made sure the weight was right for her draw 43-47# @26" and then walked away and let her and Tim pick out the woods, length and all of that. He says about 6 months, but we will see. He had a whole pad full of bows needing to be built just from attending the shoot. Pretty cool eh?
