You just solved the problem the PGC has on getting a fix on deer harvest numbers. Plain and simple, the problem is solved. But the PGC won't hear any of it. They wouldn't be able to come up with they numbers they want to use to sell license for deer that aren't there.

Its a shame that this good idea wasn't thought of by the PGC. Or was it?
Once again your bias and lack of knowledge about the subject is showing.

The Game Commission thought of a better reporting system a long ago, but the State Legislature didn’t change the law to allow for anything other then a mail in report card until less then a year ago.

We can’t start computerized accounting and reporting based on licenses until we have a computerized license system which is finally scheduled to go into affect next year. We couldn’t go to a computerized system any sooner because we couldn’t take that much money out of the general operating budget. It probably wouldn’t be happening now except for some extensive long term budgeting being combined with grants and help from the Fish and Boat Commission to share the expense along with the licensing system.
