great climbing stands, built in this area (last i heard anyway) i have not used any of the newer versions, had several of there first models, being it was a local company, unfortunatley all 3 i had got stolen, at the time of the 3rd one getting stolen i bought an ole man climber (used/cheap), i now have 3 of them, however i have heard the are built overseas now and that the quality is not what it had been, if i were buying new today, summit would be my first choice even though i'm sure there are other climbers that are very comparable

if this is your first climber be very very careful, they are a great tool but if misused the can be dangerous, get with someone that has been using a climber

also i like a sit and stand climber better than a seat and hand climber, the sit and stand is much easier to use IMO
