What time of day are you fishing? Right now there is plenty of bait fish for the walleyes to feast on so it can be very difficult to get them to bite. Prime time hours (sunrise and sunset) are still the best but you can catch a few during the day pulling crank baits or marking a school of fish anddangling a leech or crawler in front of them on a slip bobber rig. If you hang it in front of their noselong enough you can usually get a strike no matter how full they are.

In Minnesota right now the daylight bite gets more difficult as the water starts to coolas we head into fallbut thenight bite really turns on pulling cranks in the shallows. Might be the same for your area.
