Default RE: Hunting Boots

Y'all must wear your hunting boots to work and church as well as hunting judging from some of these replies .

I have a pair of Carnivore 1000 boots made for Sportsman's Guide's Guide Gear label that my wife bought me for Xmas 5 years ago , they're heavyweight Cordura nylon with rubber bobcat soles and 1,000 grams of Thinsulate and they still aren't showing significant signs of wear . She paid $79 + shipping for them . The boots were made for SG by either Rocky or Itasca , I can't remember which . My early season boots are a pair of 200 gram Thinsulate el cheapo pacs from Wally World that cost about $30 , I've had them for 6 years and they're still in great shape . Just for squirrel and rabbit hunting I wear some camo sneakers that were also purchased from Wally World for $10 , at that price they're just about disposable . I could see somebody who hunts as hard as Shockey or Zumbo needing higher dollar boots , but most of us just plain overthink them .
