I've never heard of that happening either. Not on a Hoyt OR a Mathews..
That is a bummer but I would not be afraid to shoot either brand bow and I think once they
fix it that will be it.. Or so I would hope..
Unless all that string flying off has also damaged the limbs. I'd be demanding a new bow after all of that.
