What do you think a 2000 pound animal is going to do....just roll over when hit? Maybe if you get a spine shot or both shoulders but come on...the damn thing is the largest animal on this continent. There is nothing...repeat nothing....that a 450 can do that a 45-70 can't. .
The stories claim they would drop. I said i DIDNTthink the would drop, like the stories say. Also, i know the 45/70 can do whatever the 450 can do.It isnt going to make much of a difference..i never said it couldnt. by the way, im not hunting buffalo with it. Never said i was. I know theres nothing wrong with the 45/70, i just want a 450. Nothing wrong with 45/70 or the 444, I just want a 450
