If you can find a shelf just below the ridge line you have a pretty good place for a stand.
Shhhhhh........Everyone MikeVT doesn't know what hes talking about.
Just ignore those shelves and all my stands on them.
But in all honesty I have to agree with this. It seems like when the bucks start to cruise they travel up and down these and most of them that I have huntedare within 15 yards and about 40-50 yards from the top of the ridge.
