Don't think getting close enough for a decent shot will be a problem. I've been hunting bears out of a blind for several years with a hogleg and 4o-45 yards seems to be about the max shot where I hunt.
Cocking the bowis difficult to say the least, so I ordered a rope cocking device.Do theywork well enough or does a guy need to get the hand crank model that attaches to the stock?
