I came into two Barnett crossbows that were priced very reasonably, a Quad 400 and a Revolution. Are they junk, or would they be a good place to start for someone who has never used a crossbow?
I haven't hunted with a crossbow, so I would like to hear opinions on these. Looks like they both use 22" bolts, both are 150lbs. What weight broadhead is recommended for mule deer, elk, and small black bears?
Have been more of a handgun hunter as both shoulders have had surgery, along witha severed right arm bicep tendon that can't be repaired.
All comments, good or bad, would be welcomed and appreciated.
