Default RE: bow workbench ?

I have one that's double duty and beautiful, cost about 20 bucks and some time. Made it out off some 60 year old cherry from a farm I hunt on now. Did the owners kitchen with it and had a few scrapes left over. It's a vise and holder custom made to fit my bow. The joints were well made so I decided to test it, damned if it almost didn't hold. Reinforced it with 2 1/4" threaded rods. Just copy the specs off of one of the expensive ones.

Would love to make a grip out of the cherry. It is unlike any other cherry. The grain moves like wheat in the wind. Plan on making custom archery/gun sanctuaries in my retirement.
