Mine adequately recharged the battery and helped power the cam as well once the battery was fully recharged. It works well on my spin type feeder too . The cheapest 6 volt lantern battery I've found locally is $2 , and my cam can eat one of those a week [&o], so the panel was a good investment for me . Now if I can just find a way to get it to work in the shade ...
