Good to hear buddy, keep practicing and those deer will be in trouble in no time. One thing I would recommend is get out in the woods before season start, get in a treestand and when a deer comes by, go through the motions of getting your bow ready and making the shot (do not actually take the bow and shoot the deer ) just act like you have your bow and your getting ready to shoot a deer. This is something my dad told me when I started bow hunting and it was a wake up call. Before my first season I got out andI was pretty shocked at just how hard it was to go through the motions undetected.

Can't wait to see the pics and don't worry about the speed, my first 3 bows were slower than that, heck, my 2002 Hoyt MT Sport was shooting at 244 f.p.s. and it put a doe down with ease!
